Allied Universal® is hiring an Armed Security Officer for a critical facility in Abilene, Texas. The role includes armed patrols, access control, CCTV and alarm monitoring, incident reporting and customer service to protect people and property.

This full-time position offers a pay rate of $27.03 per hour with weekly pay. Requirements include 1+ year armed security/military experience, 21+ years old, armed guard license, CPR/First Aid and firearms qualifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current driver’s license if driving a company or customer owned vehicle.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• CPR/AED and First Aid (AHA/ARC) certification; Firearms qualifications; NWDTP certification; OC, Baton and handcuffing certification.
• Two years armed security experience or two years US military service or one year armed civilian law enforcement experience.
• Must be 21+ years of age and able to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed security to protect people and property.
• Perform armed patrols, access control, CCTV and alarm monitoring.
• Report safety concerns and security breaches in writing.
• Respond to emergencies with professionalism per site protocol.
• Greet visitors and employees and assist as needed.
• Patrol the facility by foot or vehicle.
• Monitor phones, CCTV and alarms.
