Job summary

Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Armed Security Officers in California. You’ll work as part of a close-knit unit supporting our broad security services for government and commercial clients daily.

Responsibilities include patrolling facilities and public areas, preventing entry to restricted zones, and preparing security reports. A CA Driver's License, Exposed Firearms Permit, CPR/First-Aid, and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• English fluency required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol on foot or vehicle observing and maintaining security at client facilities, stations, bus stops, and public areas; issue warnings and make citizen’s arrests.
• Prevent unauthorized entry to restricted areas of client facilities and right-of-ways.
• Routinely provide information to the riding public about system use and other necessary information.
• Prepare and submit security reports and assist investigators as required.
• Participate in Special Enforcement Unit activities including fare inspection sweeps and passenger counts.
• Respond to all calls for assistance.
• Be sensitive to client culture and maintain a positive client brand image.
• Treat clients' employees, invitees, and guests with courtesy and respect.
