Qualifications

• Active Armed Guard Card/License.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider applicants with criminal histories per applicable laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, authorizations, and visitor documentation before permitting entry to restricted areas.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and access-control records in accordance with site-specific requirements and applicable procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, facilities, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
