Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security provider, is seeking a part-time Security Officer Armed Patrol (CPO) in Orlando, FL. You will protect guests and staff at a premier performing arts location, performing routine armed patrols, monitoring access, and responding to incidents with professionalism.

Requirements include at least 1 year of armed security experience, a valid CPO certification, an armed guard card, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
CPO certification required.
Armed guard card or license.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check and drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, performers, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures at a performing arts location.
Conduct regular armed patrols of public areas, performance venues, backstage spaces, offices, loading areas, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, performers, and deliveries.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and critical situations calmly and professionally, seeking additional assistance when needed.
Document observations and incidents in required reports, maintaining awareness of crowd activity before, during, and after events.
