Job summary

VetJobs is seeking qualified armed security personnel in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. You will provide professional armed security, access control, and respond to alarms and incidents to safeguard personnel, property, and operations.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years armed security or 1+ year law enforcement, pass background checks, and can work 12-hour shifts outdoors in varying weather. Travel may be required; join our mission-critical team at Constellis.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
• Minimum age of 21.
• Possess a valid Social Security Card.
• Minimum of two (2) years of armed security experience; OR one (1) year of full-duty law enforcement experience; OR two (2) years of honorable service in any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces.
• Demonstrated proficiency with a handgun and ability to meet all certification standards.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, including report writing.
• Ability to pass background investigation, drug screening, and physical examination.
• Ability to meet MRPT suitability requirements.
• Physically capable of performing all essential job duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional armed security and access control services
• Safeguard government property, classified materials, and personnel within assigned areas
• Monitor and control entry and exit points to prevent unauthorized access
• Respond decisively to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activity
• Finish incident reports accurately and timely
• Travel may be required
• Perform other duties as assigned.
