Job summary

Triple Canopy is seeking an armed security professional to support DHS-compliant operations, guarding personnel, property and critical assets while maintaining strict access control. Prior military or law enforcement experience is highly valued for a structured, mission-focused environment.

The role requires standing 12-hour shifts, working indoors and outdoors, and readiness for extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Armed security experience or law enforcement background required.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent resident with honorable service.
• Ability to pass background, drug screening, and medical exams.
• Excellent English communication and report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed security and access control.
• Protect government property and personnel.
• Monitor and control entry/exit points within secured areas.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and unusual activity.
• Identify and address safety concerns proactively.
• Enforce rules and report violations.
• Complete incident reports and required documentation.
• Stand for 12-hour shifts and work indoors/outdoors.
• Travel may be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
