Securitas, Inc. in Denver, CO is seeking an Armed Security Officer to join our team protecting people and property with an armed security presence. The role includes monitoring access, patrolling, and responding to incidents with de-escalation and strong situational awareness.

We provide training, company firearm and ammunition, and a benefits package. Must have 2 years armed security experience; 21+; HS diploma or GED; customer service and calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure environment that protects employees, customers, and visitors from harm.
• Respond to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk and damage.
• Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
• Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, and entry points.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.

Armed Security Officer

Pay Range:$25.00/HR (Increase at 1 year of service completion)

Location:Denver, CO

Securitas Security is looking for Armed Security professionals to join our team in providing overall safety and security services to our clients. Our armed program includes advanced firearms training, personal defense strategies, de-escalation, and use of force. We issue all necessary equipment to include company issued firearm and ammunition. We are looking for individuals who have prior law enforcement, military and or armed experience to join our team!

Requirements

• Must be at least 21years of age to be considered for an armed position.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Must have 2 years of armed security experience.
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
