Job summary

Valentis Group Inc. is seeking an Armed Security Officer to join our Mt Pleasant, PA team. The role involves patrolling assigned areas, controlling access, responding to emergencies, and preparing detailed shift reports to keep clients and property secure.

Candidates must be 21+, have a valid driver's license and PA ACT 235 certification, a HS diploma, pass background checks and drug tests, and be flexible to work weekends and holidays. Training is conducted in Pittsburgh, PA.

Valentis Group Inc. is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team in Mt Pleasant, PA. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas to deter criminal activity and ensure the safety of clients and their property.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents and activities during each shift.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must possess a valid PA ACT 235 certification.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Mandatory training is required in Pittsburgh, PA.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to climb stairs and walk throughout the community
