Job description

Afognak Diversified Services, Inc a subsidiary of Afognak Native Corporation has opportunities for part-time Armed Security Officers. The Armed Security Officer includes but is not limited to a variety of security related duties. Responding to a variety of calls / incidents, secures / safeguards specific scenes, perform crowd control as required. Performs personnel, vehicular, and building facility inspections; as well as First Aid and CPR as required. Completes all required reports, forms, and other established procedures via electronic security application.

Safely maintains and qualifies with assigned weapons, maintains uniform and grooming standards in accordance with company policies. Operates patrol vehicle in a safe manner, conducts flag protocols, safeguards all assets, provides motorist assistance and escort persons and equipment as needed. Conducts other assignments in accordance with established SOP’s. Must be familiar with various Security systems such as : CCTV’s, access control, emergency notification systems, and mobile security applications.

• Responds to a variety of calls / incidents, secures / safeguards crime scenes, perform crowd control as required, performs personnel, vehicular and building facility checks, First Aid and CPR as required, and completes all required reports, forms, and other documentation IAW established procedures.
• Enforce regulations designed to prevent security breaches.
• Staffs post continuously and provide access control; deters / reports unauthorized personnel or vehicular entry, directs traffic and provides information to visitors, and screens packages
• Safely maintains and qualifies with assigned weapon, maintains uniform and grooming standards IAW company policies, operates patrol vehicle in a safe manner
• Conducts flag protocols
• Safeguards all assets, provide motorist assistance and escort persons and equipment
• Conducts any other assignments in accordance with established SOP’s
• Familiar with Security systems including CCTV and mobile security applications

Pay rate : $17.50 to $20.50 hourly
