Duties include patrols, access control, incident reporting, and collaboration with authorities. Training and development are offered, with weekly pay. The role requires physical fitness, professional conduct, and the ability to respond effectively

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Guard Card and Exposed Firearms permit.
• Current valid Driver's License with driving record submission required.
• Gear includes Level 3 Holster, Duty Belt, Handcuffs; Level 3A Body Armor optional.
• 2 of 3 nonlethals (Baton, OC Spray, Taser) and related certifications highly desired.
• Demonstrated firearms proficiency with training and periodic proficiency tests.
• Physical fitness able to stand/walk for extended periods and respond to emergencies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking and quick decision-making in high-stress situations.
• High ethical standards and discretion in handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

Seeking Armed Security Officers

SCHEDULE: To Be Determined

PAY RATE: $22-25/hour

(VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND CLEAN DRIVING RECORD HIGHLY DESIRED)

Job Overview:

Star Pro Security Patrol, Inc. is seeking a competent and reliable Armed Security Officer to safeguard our client's premises, assets, and personnel. The ideal candidate will be a highly trained individual capable of handling firearms responsibly and exercising sound judgment in potentially dangerous situations. The Armed Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment through vigilant surveillance, enforcing security protocols, and responding promptly to any threats or emergencies.

Responsibilities:

• Patrol and Monitor: Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas, both on foot and using vehicles, to ensure the security of the premises. Monitor surveillance equipment and alarms to detect and respond to suspicious activity or breaches
• Enforce Security Procedures: Implement and enforce security procedures, including access control measures, visitor screening, and identification checks. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
• Deter Criminal Activity: Act as a visible deterrent to potential criminal activity by maintaining a professional and authoritative presence. Respond assertively to any attempts to breach security or endanger the safety of individuals on the premises
• Handle Emergencies: Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies such as medical incidents, fires, or disturbances. Take appropriate action to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of personnel and property
• Use of Firearms: Safely and responsibly carry and handle firearms in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. Be proficient in the use of firearms and use them only as a last resort in situations where there is an imminent threat to life or property
• Report Writing: Document all security-related incidents, activities, and observations in detailed reports. Maintain accurate records of patrols, incidents, and any security-related occurrences
• Collaborate with Authorities: Coordinate with law enforcement agencies and emergency responders as necessary. Provide assistance and support during investigations or legal proceedings
• Customer Service: Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with employees, visitors, and clients. Provide assistance and information as needed to ensure a positive and secure experience for all

Requirements:

• Armed Security Certification: Must possess a valid Guard Card and Exposed Firearms permit
• Driver's License: Must possess a current valid Driver's License and are required to submit a copy of your driving records
• Equipped gears: Level 3 Holster, Duty Belt, Handcuffs; Level 3A Body Armor is optional
• 2 out of the 3 Nonlethals: Baton, OC Spray, Taser and their certifications are HIGHLY DESIRED
• Firearms Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in the safe handling and use of firearms. Must have completed firearms training courses and be able to pass regular proficiency assessments
• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, walking, and physical exertion. Must be in good physical condition and capable of responding effectively to emergencies
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and maintain composure in stressful situations
• Critical Thinking: Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills. Ability to assess situations quickly, analyze risks, and take appropriate action to maintain security and safety
• Ethical Conduct: High level of integrity and ethical conduct. Must adhere to professional standards of conduct and uphold confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or security-related field
• Additional certifications or training in first aid, CPR, or emergency response
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and procedures governing armed security operations
