Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking an Armed Security Officer for part‑time weekend shifts in Minnesota. The role involves patrolling client sites, monitoring premises, enforcing regulations, and assisting employees and visitors with information.

You will act as a deterrent while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor on site. Requirements include 2 years of security experience, a valid MN CCW, firearms training, CPR/FA, IPAT, and NLDW, with training provided.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of Military, Law Enforcement, or Security experience required.
• Must currently hold a valid MN CCW.
• Firearms training, CPR / FA, IPAT, and NLDW required.
• 2nd interview required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises and patrol client sites to deter incidents.
• Enforce regulations and directives for the client site.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and visitors.
• Act as a visible deterrent to maintain a safe environment.

Armed Security Officer - Part Time

Primary Location: St. Paul, MN

Wage: $24.60/HR

1st Shift Weekends

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Armed Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Armed Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers and serve as a physical deterrent.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• 2 years of Military, Law Enforcement, or Security experience required.
