Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring an Armed Security Officer to safeguard facilities and deter crime. The officer reports incidents clearly and comprehensively, maintaining a visible security presence to protect clients, guests, and employees. Must have 3+ years in security, military, or law enforcement or an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice, and be at least 21 years old.

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Minimum of three (3) years of law enforcement, military, or private armed security experience.
• Minimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state).
• Excellent communication skills; able to articulate and write clear and concise incident or situation reports.
• Able to complete all range qualifications and functions.

Job Description

Allied Universal® is hiring an Armed Security Officer. The Armed Security Officer is responsible for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. Our Armed Security Officers allow us to accomplish our company’s core purpose which is “to service, secure and care for the people and businesses in our communities.” Armed Security Officers act as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions; they detect and report suspicious, unsafe or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts which may be a threat to the property, clients, guests or employees at the site.

Payrate: $31.97/Hr.

3+ Years Security, Military, or Law Enforcement Experience or Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice
