As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Deterrence in Cincinnati, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Must be 21 or older

2+ Years' Law Enforcement/Military/Corrections Experience Required

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access‑control policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor records, and observe activity within and around the location to help protect personnel, customers, assets, and confidential information.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, parking facilities, ATM areas, and the business perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established procedures and coordinating with appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and required logs while maintaining a professional presence and following all applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
