Allied Universal, a leading security services provider, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer – Armed Patrol First Aid Response in Seattle, WA. You will perform armed patrols, provide superior customer service, and respond to incidents while upholding site policies.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 21+ for armed duties, and successful background checks. This position offers a part-time schedule Friday through Sunday with a pay rate of $32.50 per hour.

• Background check and drug screen will be conducted as required by law.
• Must be 21 years of age or older for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and staff by carrying out armed security procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular armed patrols in retail areas, parking lots, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, report suspicious behavior to management or law enforcement as needed.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain documentation.

Job Schedule:

• Fri 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Sat 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Sun 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following applicable site procedures and armed post requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, parking lots, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to site management and/or law enforcement as appropriate.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrols, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience using handcuffs, pepper spray, and a baton is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
