Job summary

Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. seeks an Armed Security Officer to protect client sites in California. You will be trained in enhanced security procedures and work with advanced technology in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires an Exposed Firearms Permit, a guard card, CPR/First-Aid and Blood Borne Pathogens certification, a valid driver's license, and being 21 or older. Open availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Job Description

Minimum Requirements Armed Officer

Each Armed Security Officer To Be Assigned To The Account Must Meet Or Exceed, At Least, One Of The Following Criteria

• Armed Security Officer or military law enforcement or corrections experience — one (1) year minimum
• Military experience of four (4) years with an Honorable Discharge
• Military deployment, combat arms experience of two (2) years, with Honorable Discharge
• Graduate of a Law Enforcement academy

Work Environment and Schedule

• Job operates in client sites which could be indoors or outdoors
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking, in the performance of daily security activities
• Open availability Nights, Weekends, Holidays and overtime as directed(overtime occurs)
• Work various shifts and Holidays as assigned

Qualifications
