Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Minimum High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Pass comprehensive background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain an active Secret Clearance.
• Speak, read, comprehend, and compose coherent reports in English.
• Have a valid Social Security Card.
• Shall not be in violation of the Lautenberg Amendment (18 U.S.C. 922).
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Pass Drug Test and Medical evaluation exam.
• Must complete NSGTC course and qualify with pistol and rifle.
• Must be capable of working all shifts.
• Must successfully meet PAT physical agility standards.

Responsibilities

• Protect personnel, facilities, equipment, and government assets.
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols.
• Perform access control and visitor screening functions.
• Enforce security procedures, post orders, and directives.
• Monitor assigned areas for threats and unauthorized access.
• Prepare incident reports and logs.
• Respond to emergencies and security incidents.
• Interact professionally with government personnel, contractors, and the public.

  What You'll Do

  
  

  As an Armed Security Guard, you will:

  
  
  
  
  • Protect personnel, facilities, equipment, and government assets

  • Perform access control and visitor screening functions
  
  
  • Enforce security procedures, post orders, and operational directives
  
  
  • Monitor assigned areas for suspicious activity and unauthorized access
  
  
  • Prepare incident reports, logs, and required documentation
  
  
  • Respond to emergencies and security incidents
  
  
  • Interact professionally with government personnel, contractors, visitors, and the public
  
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Must be a Citizen of the U.S.

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

• Pass comprehensive background investigation

• Must be able to obtain an active Secret Clearance

• Speak, read, comprehend, and compose coherent verbal and written reports in English.

• Have an approved Social Security Card issued by the Social Security Administration.

• Shall not be in violation of the Lautenberg Amendment at 18 U.S.C. 922

• Must be at least 21 years of age.


• Possess a Valid driver’s license


• Pass Drug Test and Medical evaluation exam

• Successfully be able to meet PAT physical agility standards (1.5 mile run under 17:30 and 19 push-ups under 2 min.)

• Must successfully complete and pass the MMPI (Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory)

• Must be able to complete the company-provided 160-hour NSGTC course and qualify with both pistol and rifle.


• Must be capable of working all shifts.
