Job summary

Chenega MIOS SBU is seeking an Armed Security Guard to protect a U.S. Government site and its personnel. You will manage access, patrol facilities, and respond to alarms with vigilance and professionalism.

The role requires a Secret (or higher) clearance, a valid NC drivers license, and a CPR certification. You will work in a mission-focused environment with strict post orders and documentation requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Speak, read, comprehend, and compose reports in English.
  • Must have an Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top-Secret clearance.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Possess a valid NC drivers license and be able to operate SUV-style vehicles.
  • Minimum of one year experience preferably with a civilian police or security organization.
  • Have a current CPR certification (American Red Cross).
  • Must meet PAT physical agility standards as set forth by US Army.
  • Must not be in violation of the Lautenberg Amendment at 18 U.S.C. 922.

What You'll Do


As an Armed Security Guard, you will:



  • Protect government personnel, visitors, facilities, and property

Qualifications



  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.



  • Speak, read, comprehend, and compose coherent verbal and written reports in English.



  • Have an approved Social Security Card issued by the Social Security Administration.



  • Must have an Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.



  • Shall not be in violation of the Lautenberg Amendment at 18 U.S.C. 922



  • Must be at least 21 years of age.



  • Possess a Valid NC driver's license and able to operate SUV style vehicles.



  • Minimum of one year experience preferably with a civilian police force, military police force, or civilian security guard organization.



  • Possess a current CPR certification through the American Red Cross.



  • Successfully be able to meet PAT physical agility standards as set forth by US Army
