Job summary

Allied Universal in Fort Worth, TX seeks a part-time Security Officer Armed Driver with a DoD Secret Clearance. You will patrol, deter incidents, and support a secure environment at an aerospace and defense site while delivering premier customer service.

Minimum requirements include 2+ years security experience, 3+ years combined law enforcement/military, active DoD Secret Clearance, and a Texas Level III Armed Certification. Excellent driving record required.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorizations, and document visitor, contractor, delivery, and incident activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain required firearms qualifications and handle assigned equipment responsibly while performing duties in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and client procedures.
