Job summary

Allied Universal in Midland, TX is seeking an Armed Security Officer Access Control Driver to join our team. This part-time role focuses on safeguarding clients in chemical/petrochemical settings, providing courteous customer service, and enforcing site policies.

You will perform supervised armed patrols, verify credentials, and respond to incidents, while maintaining equipment and complying with laws. The position offers flexible hours and opportunities to expand into additional roles through

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted under federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide security procedures and emergency response at a chemical/petrochemical site.
• Respond to incidents and alarms, following site protocols.
• Perform armed patrols of facilities and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Verify credentials and monitor visitor/contractor access per procedures.
• Carry and maintain equipment, including firearms, per policy and law.
