Job summary

Cascadia Global Security is hiring for an Armed Corporate Security position in Austin, TX. The full-time role requires vigilance, integrity, and the ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen. Shift schedule includes mornings and weekend coverage, with pay at $21 per hour and daily pay options.

The role involves access control, patrols, and reporting safety or maintenance concerns. Applicants must be 21+, have a Level 3 Armed License or be eligible, and provide required equipment as specified.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Armed security experience preferred; 1 year required.
• Must pass a 10-panel drug screen and background check.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Provide own duty weapon and body armor as specified.
• Driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Access control and site surveillance.
• Investigate and report safety and maintenance issues.
• Patrol client facilities in a company vehicle or on foot.
• Deterrence of theft and vandalism.
• Maintain concise daily administrative documentation.
• Uphold uniform and grooming standards.
• Perform other related duties as required.

About the position:

• Position: Armed Corporate Security
• Location: Austin, TX 78719
• Employment type: Full-Time
• Schedules:
• Monday 6 am - 4 pm, Thursday 6 am - 4 pm, Saturday 2 pm - 10 pm, and Sunday 6 am - 2 pm
• Pay: $21per hour
• Daily pay options are available. Payout as soon as the next day!

SecurityResponsibilities:

• Access Control
• Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions that may endanger the client, its associates, or public safety
• Patrols areassigned in a company-marked vehicle, provided the candidates' driving history isexemplary. Free of tickets, accidents, or marks against your driver's license.
  • Patrols may be assigned on foot to maintain visibility and observe possible unusual activities at client facilities
• Theft and vandalism deterrence
• Ensure the client, its associates, and facility personnel are provided with a safe and professional work environment
• Ensure that daily administrative documentation is always kept concise and complete
• Uniform attire and grooming standards must be maintained while in uniform
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications and skills:

• Basic computer skills and report-writing experience
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to handle stressful situations and emergencies
• Minimum 21years of age
• Candidates shouldbe able to provide body armor:
  • Tactical outer carrier
  • Concealed inner carrier
  • 3a+ Soft armor
  • Duty belt with MOLLEattachments
  • OC spray, handcuffs, and baton.
  • Provide own duty weapon
    • With at least 2 spare magazines

Pay and Benefits:

• Salary:$21per hour
• 50% paid Medical/ Dental/ Vision/ and Free Life insurance for Full-time employees available after the first 60 days.
