Allied Universal in Bayboro, NC is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer - Armed Route Patrol Driver to protect government location staff and visitors. You will perform regular armed patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while maintaining professional customer service.

This position offers a flexible schedule via our Claim a Shift platform, requires an armed guard card, 6 months of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and a HS diploma.

Qualifications

• Armed Guard Card/License required.
• 6 months armed security‑related experience or military/law enforcement experience.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and public while following security procedures and site policies at a government location.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of facilities, grounds, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report entry attempts or violations.
• Respond to incidents calmly and in accordance with established procedures; coordinate with site leadership.
• Prepare accurate reports and logs; communicate observations and incidents to supervision.
