GardaWorld Security Services in Tampa, FL is seeking an ARMED Response Security Officer to join our Special Response team. The role will vary by day and event, combining customer service, patrols, and surveillance with agility and precision.

Responsibilities include monitoring premises, conducting patrols, controlling access, and reporting incidents. This driving post requires open availability for 2nd and 3rd shifts and a valid Florida security license.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED documentation
• Must pass an extensive screening process
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement background; 6+ months armed corrections experience
• Florida Class D/G security licenses
• Driving post: 21+ with valid license and clean record

As a casual Security Officer – Response, your role will vary depending on the day and special event. Whether it’s customer service, patrols, or surveillance, we need you to adapt with agility and precision.

Special Response / Rover: MUST have OPEN AVAILABILITY 2nd and 3rd shift (Available any day / on short notice)

• Site Location: Tampa, FL
• Schedule:

• Competitive hourly wage of $21.00 Hour (Armed), $18.00 / Hour (Unarmed) (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Qualifications for Response Security Guard:

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Responsive and strong problem solving skills
• MUST have Security, Military, Law Enforcement , Minimum 6 months Armed Corrections Experience
• Must have a Florida Class D/ G security Licenses
• ** This is a Driving Post. Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record**
