Qualifications

• Education: H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years in general security/public safety experience or equivalent training to handle weapons and use of force.
• Must pass pre-employment psychological screening and ongoing trainings including firearms, Taser, ASP Baton, Mental Health First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Maintain routine safety and emergency security at the facility.
• Serve as first responder to all emergency incidents within the assigned facility.
• De-escalate critical events with sound judgment in engagements with combative or escalating individuals.
• On-board and train new employees as an informal resource to colleagues.
