Job summary

First Coast Security Solutions is seeking Full-time Rover on call Protective Security Officers (PSOs) for the Greater Los Angeles area and surrounding counties, including Orange, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Ventura, San Bernardino, and Riverside counties. PSOs must be willing to work on weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include controlling access, patrolling, incident response, report writing, evidence protection, and adherence to site procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Armed Security, Law Enforcement, or honorable military service in the U.S. Armed Forces.
• Must fluently speak, read, comprehend, and compose reports in English.
• Must maintain all required licenses, permits, and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Control access by verifying admittance, screening visitors, and preventing unauthorized entry.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and facility activity, including vehicle inspections, gate operations, CCTV monitoring, and remote access systems.
• Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle to identify hazards, detect security violations, and ensure safe conditions.
• Respond to incidents such as medical emergencies, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other situations.
• Protect evidence and secure incident scenes as required.
• Complete logs, reports, and documentation.
• Report suspicious activities, safety concerns, or incidents.
• Follow all safety rules, company policies, and site procedures.
• Other related duties may be assigned based on site needs.
