Qualifications

• Armed Guard Card/License required.
• At least 6 months armed security-related experience or military/law enforcement background.
• Valid driver0s license required.
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check conducted as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances in a professional, problem-solving manner per post orders and laws.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, document visitor activity, and report unauthorized access.
• Prepare incident reports and communicate observations to site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
