Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in New London, NC to protect clients across government and other facilities. This full-time position involves driving patrols, responding to alarms, controlling access, and delivering professional customer service while upholding Allied Universal’s values.

Responsibilities include regular armed patrols of grounds and parking areas, documenting incidents with clear reports, and complying with training, policies, and licensing

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation as per law.
• A drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may be required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to facility staff, visitors, and residents while carrying out security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of facility grounds, buildings, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas; verify credentials and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports and maintain activity logs.
