Job summary

Allied Universal in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Badge Control. You will serve clients across industries, deliver professional customer service, and uphold a culture of integrity in a dynamic environment.

This full-time driving role involves armed patrols at a financial institution, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and maintaining incident reports. Minimum requirements include security experience or a college degree and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' combined law enforcement, military, or security experience, or a college degree.
• Valid driver's license is required per policy.
• Possess 5+ years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and applicable laws.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, observe visitor and employee activity, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership and/or appropriate authorities.
• Maintain required reports and documentation regarding patrols, incidents, inspections, and other security-related activities.
