GardaWorld Security is hiring a Response Security Officer for Rome, GA. The role emphasizes keen observation, environmental awareness, and risk anticipation to safeguard people and property.

You will patrol diverse sites, respond to emergencies, verify access, and coordinate with authorities as needed. The position requires staying on site for the full shift with weekend coverage and offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older with a valid Driver's license and clean driving record
• 2–5 years of Law Enforcement or Military Experience
• 2–5 years of Armed Security Experience
• Open availability: all shifts and all days, including weekends
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Able to pass an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• State license if required

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency call outs or site coverage
• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• You have a state license if required
