Job summary

ContinuityGS is looking for an Armed Security Guard to provide security and access control at a U.S. Army installation in Kosovo. The role includes roving patrols and surveillance, ensuring the safety of the installation and its tenants.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens, possess a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (which can be sponsored), and have at least two years of relevant experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to meet physical and medical requirements are essential.

• Ability to pass medical testing and physical ability tests.

Summary

The Armed Security Guard provides security, installation access control, roving patrols, surveillance, monitoring and overall safeguarding to the installation and its tenants. This is a United States Army installation, which includes all access gym and workout facility as well as a PX, Burger King, and MWR.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen
• U.S. Secret Security Clearance (CGS-Kosovo can sponsor new clearances)
• Two (2) years' experience in armed security, armed law enforcement, or similar within the past 10 years
• Completed a State recognized civilian security or law enforcement academy, or completion of an armed forces security or law enforcement training program (provide training certificate(s) or DD214)
• Current/active U.S. Passport
• Clean criminal history, no convictions or major traffic offenses (will undergo NCIC/FBI criminal background report with fingerprints)
• Experience and knowledge of security operations
• Experience with basic force protection
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Medically fit and able to pass medical testing
• Pass Physical Ability Test: run 1.5 miles in 17:30 minutes and 21 push-ups in two minutes
• Willingness to undergo random drug testing upon request
• Regular working hours 48 hours per week, possibility of varied schedules and additional hours as assigned
• Maintain necessary physical fitness to ensure accomplishment of assigned missions; meet all physical and medical requirements per U.S. Government contract
