Job summary

United Security Inc. is seeking Per-Diem Armed Executive Protection officers to safeguard corporate executives in Connecticut and surrounding regions. The role offers flexible schedules, temporary assignments AS NEEDED, and a dynamic team environment.

Candidates should meet stringent training standards, possess concealed carry and state licenses, and demonstrate readiness to work long shifts and travel with clients to ensure their safety and peace of mind.

Qualifications

• Must possess State Concealed Carry Permit.
• Minimum 75% on firearms qualification course approved by the state.
• 4 hours of annual firearms instruction on safety and use of force, certified by a firearms instructor.
• CT State Licensed Carry Permit - Level 1 endorsement.
• Retired law enforcement or executive protection experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; higher education also accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide security for corporate executives needing protection from public threats.
• Identify potential risks and assess threats based on profile, location, and schedule.
• Escort clients during travel and manage safe transport.
• Maintain professional appearance, demeanor, and communication protocols on duty.

• Providing security for corporate executives who need safeguarding against public threats. All agents should have experience and training in the following:

Threat assessment: Identifying potential risks based on the executive's profile, location, and schedule.

Movement protocols: Procedures for safely transporting the executive, including vehicle formations, route planning, and designated escape routes.

Surveillance techniques: Methods for discreetly monitoring the surrounding environment to detect suspicious activity.

Access control: Procedures for verifying identities and managing entry points to restricted areas.

Communication protocols: Clear guidelines for radio communication, reporting procedures, and contact information for key personnel.

Emergency response plans: Specific actions to take in case of an active threat, medical emergency, or other critical situations.

Appearance and demeanor: Expectations for professional attire, personal hygiene, and appropriate conduct while on duty.

Work Hours and Benefits:

• Flexible on Days- Schedules are based on Contract Details Assigned
• Per Diem / Contract Role- Temporary Assignments AS NEEDED

Armed Executive Protection Officer Qualifications and Skills:

• Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours
• Strong Verbal and Written communication skills
• Strong Threat assessment Skills : Identifying, evaluating, and managing threats to the client
• Ability to assess the level of risk associated with different situations
• Accompanying clients during travel
• Driving clients to and from destinations
• Keeping clients safe while in a motor vehicle

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Must posses State Concealed Carry Permit
• Marksmanship Qualification: Must score a minimum of 75% on a practical or tactical pistol/revolver course approved by the state.
• Instruction Hours: Must complete at least 4 hours of annual instruction covering firearms techniques and safety, laws regarding deadly force, and the moral/ethical use of force, certified by a qualified firearms instructor. [ 1 ]
• CT State Licensed Carry Permit - Minimum Level 1 endorsement
• Firearm Qualification to be reviewed
• Retired Law Enforcement (Police or corrections), 5 years active military, or Executive Protection Experience Required
• High School Diploma or equivalent required (Higher Education also Accepted)
