Qualifications

• Armed security guard experience with cash handling/transport.
• Valid Armed Security Guard license and firearm carry permit.
• Security training including firearm safety and use of force.
• Excellent observation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Cash transport: secure pickup, transit and delivery of cash/valuables.
• Maintain communication with department and dispatch throughout shifts.
• Identify vulnerable route points and maintain heightened vigilance.
• Reconcile deposits and valuables daily.
• Access control: verify IDs and restrict unauthorized access.
• Prepare detailed logs of daily activities, incidents and discrepancies.
• De-escalate conflicts and coordinate with law enforcement as needed.
• Follow firearm handling safety, training, and safety protocols.
• Participate in ongoing training and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide responsive customer service and secure environment for staff.
