Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Access Patrol in Boynton Beach, FL to safeguard clients across industries within a commercial real estate setting. You will monitor access points, conduct patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, while delivering customer service to residents and visitors.

This full-time role requires an Armed Guard Card, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work night shifts.

Qualifications

• Two years of combined law enforcement, military, or corrections, or possess a college degree in criminal justice.
• Armed Guard Card or License.
• A valid driver’s license are required per policy.
• Computer or tablet use is comfortable (preferred).
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law; may be subject to drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures and policies.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify authorization, maintain visitor records, and communicate access-related information per procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and escalating when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Prepare reports and communicate incidents and observations with management and responders.
