A leading manufacturing company is seeking an Armature - Motor Winder for their Longview, Texas facility. The role involves setup, layout, winding, connecting, testing, and troubleshooting AC and DC rotating equipment. Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant experience, be capable of following safety instructions, and operate equipment like forklifts and overhead cranes. This position requires passing a background check and pre-employment drug screening, as well as the ability to work overtime and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience or equivalent knowledge of armature or motor/stator winding duties.
• Successfully pass background check and pre-employment physical drug screening.
• Able to work overtime and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Setup, layout, winding, connecting, testing, and troubleshooting AC and DC rotating equipment.
• Cleans and maintains equipment, tooling, and work area.
• Makes accurate connections using solder and brazing processes.
• Able to test armatures windings at high voltage using Hypot, Surge, and Megger equipment.

Skills

Basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

Knowledge of various hand tools

Ability to work independently

Ability to operate forklift and overhead crane
