Job summary

Serco Inc. in Arlington, VA seeks a Security Control Assessor (Mid) to support DoD security program tasks, RMF compliance, and control validation. You will engage with government and contractor stakeholders to maintain documentation and drive assessment progress.

This role requires US citizenship, a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. On-site work Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience supporting security control assessments, RMF, or DoD security functions.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Support security control assessment activities, documentation review, evidence tracking, and reporting.
• Review security plans, assessment materials, findings, corrective actions, and related system security documentation.
• Coordinate with government and contractor stakeholders to support assessment schedules and documentation.
• Maintain trackers, matrices, and records monitoring assessment progress and action items.
• Support meetings, briefings, and leadership updates related to security controls and assessment status.
• Identify risks and gaps, and propose process improvements for assessment execution.
• Assist with documenting findings and remediation activities.
