Sittercity.com is seeking a warm, dependable babysitter for a 4-year-old preschooler in Arlington, VA. Occasional weekend/evening care is needed to support transitioning with another caregiver; he is autistic and communicates mainly nonverbally, with some spoken language.

Comfort around dogs is helpful, as we have a small cocker spaniel. The ideal candidate has special needs experience, owns a car, and can start around October 27 with some flexibility.

We're looking for a warm, dependable babysitter for a 4-year-old preschooler. Occasional weekend/evening care so he can become comfortable with another caregiver alongside our current nanny. He is autistic and communicates primarily nonverbally, with some spoken language. Experience supporting children with communication differences, patient, attentive to learn his cues and routines is a plus. We also have a small cocker spaniel, so comfort around dogs is important, although no pet care is required. Our preferred start date is around October 27 with flexibility.
