This role offers a balanced inpatient and outpatient practice, opportunities to shape HF protocols and participate in LVAD workups, research initiatives, and ICU management of complex cardiac patients within a physician-led, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible cardiologist with fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure.
• Experience in advanced HF care and program development is required.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines and lead multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead heart failure readmission reduction initiatives.
• Guide inpatient care of advanced heart failure patients.
• Oversee LVAD workup and longitudinal management.
• Participate in the Heart Failure and SHOCK inpatient response teams.
• Active participation on the LVAD Committee.
• Oversight of APRN-led outpatient CHF clinics.
• Participate in heart failure research initiatives.
• Assist with ICU management of complex cardiac patients.
