The role requires skill in delivering evidence‑based ELA and mathematics instruction, documenting student learning, monitoring pre‑to post‑assessment growth, and modifying instructional strategies when progress stalls. The tutor aligns tutoring with classroom instruction and collaborates with classroom teachers to use classroom, benchmark, pre‑assessment, and formative data to identify specific priority skills, address students' instructional needs, and adjust tutoring based on ongoing evidence of learning.
