Job summary

Cross Country Education seeks a dedicated School Psychologist for an immediate opening in Tempe, Arizona. The role partners with school teams to boost student achievement and well-being during typical school hours.

You will conduct psychoeducational assessments, support IEP/504 processes, and design evidence-based interventions. ADE certification and Level 1 IVP clearance are required or eligible.

Qualifications

• Master’s, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Arizona Department of Education School Psychologist Certificate (or eligible to obtain).
• Active Arizona Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Strong knowledge of psychoeducational assessment tools, IDEA guidelines, and special education compliance in Arizona.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to determine student eligibility for Special Education services.
• Participate in IEP, MET, and 504 plan meetings and coordinate student services.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to design and implement academic and behavioral intervention plans.
• Provide short-term individual or group counseling and crisis intervention as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with IDEA and state/federal regulations.
