Job summary

AdvaCare Home Care, based in Phoenix, Arizona, seeks a Director of Operations to lead and scale its non-medical home care operations across the state. Qualifications

• Minimum of three to five years of high‑level operational or management experience in skilled home health, non‑medical home care, or a related healthcare setting.
• Arizona home care experience and knowledge of AHCCCS/ALTCS are strongly preferred, although qualified candidates from other states will be considered.
• Proven ability to lead teams, solve problems, create systems, and manage a growing operation.
• Strong understanding of scheduling, staffing, compliance, caregiver credentialing, and client services.
• Experience successfully scaling operations or supporting multi-location growth is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organization, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations, including scheduling, caregiver staffing, client services, compliance, and quality assurance.
• Develop scalable systems, procedures, workflows, and performance standards.
• Maintain compliance with payer requirements, EVV, caregiver credentialing, and company policies.
• Improve caregiver recruitment, onboarding, retention, and overall satisfaction.
• Strengthen client satisfaction, communication, and service delivery.
• Work closely with executive leadership to support company growth and expansion.
• Help open, develop, and oversee additional service areas throughout Arizona.
• Travel throughout Arizona to support staff, clients, and agency operations.
