A leading construction company is actively seeking a Highway Operations Manager in Mesa, Arizona. The successful candidate will oversee the planning and management of all operations within the highway division, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Responsibilities include resource determination, adherence to safety standards, and effective communication with management and clients. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in construction management, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as Operating Superintendent is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Experience with highway equipment repair is necessary.
• Must be able to learn pricing and billing with moderate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
• Manage hiring, terminations, and employee retention within the region.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with Regional Highway Manager.
