Job summary

Delaware North Sportservice is seeking a Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, MI. You will lead the culinary team, ensure production efficiency, and maintain top-quality food in a high-volume setting.

The role requires at least 3 years of culinary experience with supervisory duties, strong leadership, and the ability to obtain required food-safety certifications. Competitive base salary plus bonus and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of culinary experience in a large production kitchen or high-volume operation.
• Previous supervisory responsibilities and leadership abilities.
• Ability to obtain ServSafe, Food Safety Handler, and Training for Intervention Procedures certifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the culinary team, ensuring efficiency and high-quality food.
• Assist in hiring, training, and mentoring team members.
• Support food and labor cost management, scheduling, inventory, and ordering.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu design and recipes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, sanitary kitchen compliant with health regulations.
