Job summary

ASM Global in Minneapolis is seeking a Changeover Crew member to support conversions between events, including concerts, sports, and family shows. This union, non-exempt role requires teamwork, physical stamina, and readiness to work variable shifts across events at the arena.

The role involves setting up and tearing down courts, risers, and related equipment, assisting with routine maintenance, and responding to event needs during operations to ensure safe, smooth transitions between shows.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Related experience in trades is preferred.
• CDL for forklift operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for working with a team to convert and prepare the arena for events.
• Setup and take down of basketball courts, staging, risers, and other event-related items.
• Physical work/heavy lifting is common and required.
• Assist with daily maintenance and upkeep of department equipment such as seating risers, basketball floor and hoops, dressing room furniture, and miscellaneous others.
• Assist during the event by responding to radio requests for set up, removal, and/or repair of risers and department equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
