Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a dedicated front-end supervisor to maintain a safe, well-merchandised Spokane store and deliver exceptional customer service.

You will lead Associates, ensure front-end standards, train cashiers, and uphold loss prevention practices while maintaining a welcoming shopping environment. Your duties include managing the pace at the front end, supervising breaks, ensuring equipment works, and supervising stockroom and merchandising tasks in alignment with company

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

To meet friendly and productivity standa rds.Controls Retail Associates' break schedule for backups, lunches and bre aks.Ensures all equipment is working prope rly.Maintains proper supplies and recovery for the Front End a rea.Ensures go backs are expedited, properly scanned, security tagged and ticke ted.Teaches all Associates the "Scan and Bag" best pract ice.Ensures salability of merchandise on the Front End, aisle tables, Men's/Women's 4-way features, and specialty ra cs. Fitting R ooms:Responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the Fitting Rooms.Ensures all Fitting Room garment tags are audited and accounted for to Company p olicy.Ensures go-back compliance throughout the day. All merchandise returned to the sales floor must be ticketed, scanned, nubbed and security tagged as n eeded. Administrative Duties as Assigned by Store Ma nager:Ensures Cash pulls and bank deposits are conducted to Company p olicy.Responsible for Front End control when needed. Understands and adheres to the policies and procedures that refer to refund approval, Associate purchase approval, securing tills and cash in safe, register Paid Outs/Ins, void approval, register media and break sche dules.Responsible for payroll administration including daily punch edits, Associate scheduling compliance, Sunday payroll transmission and Payroll reporting as n eededOther duties as assigned by Store Manager.
