Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to organise the day-to-day cleaning operation, monitor stock levels and ensure monthly audits are completed on time. This role requires strong supervisory skills and a proactive approach.

You will develop induction procedures, arrange staff training, and manage holiday and sickness cover while upholding health and safety procedures in line with company policy. Excellent IT and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising cleaning operations.
• Ability to train and induct new staff.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• IT/computer literacy for reporting and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• You will organise the day-to-day cleaning operation.

About The Role:

Role Objectives

• To have the overall responsibility for the practical organisation of the day-to-day cleaning operation.
• To monitor stocks of cleaning equipment and materials in order that orders can be placed on a timely basis.
• Ensure monthly cleaning Audits are carried out.
• Develop and carry out induction procedures with all new staff.
• To organise appropriate training for all cleaning.
• Schedule holiday and sickness cover
• To ensure that all Health & Safety procedures are followed, in accordance with company policies.

Skills And Attributes

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Supervisory experience in a cleaning environment, preferably in a PPP environment.
• Happy to cover area's of Cleaning when required by the business during staff shortfalls, holiday and sickness cover
• A pro-active attitude.
• Good IT/computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills including verbal and the written word.
• The ability to form relationships with clients and to exceed customer expectation.
