Job summary

Nox Group is seeking an Area Superintendent to support large-scale data center and mission-critical construction projects. Based in Pecos, TX, you will drive safety, quality, schedule, and cost, leading field teams and coordinating with engineers and trade partners on complex programs.

You will influence Foremen development, manage field surveys, and support Last Planner scheduling processes, ensuring contractual compliance and successful project delivery in a demanding, safety-sensitive

Responsibilities

  • Fosters a culture of safety and quality for foremen and trade partners.
  • Develops Foremen and creates a positive environment for craft and trade partners to prosper.
  • Guides Field Engineer on survey and layout needs and schedules.
  • Assists with project schedule development, pull plans, look-ahead schedules, and Last Planner System.
  • Prepares work plans for critical tasks and reviews them with Field Engineer and Foreman.
  • Understands labor/equipment costs and helps plan work to be commercially successful.
  • Ensures proper crew sizing and availability for projects.
  • Ensures timely completion of reports and field documentation.
  • Leads QC coordination for scope and assigned projects.
  • Participates in daily and weekly project meetings.
  • Reports field issues to Field Engineer and Project Superintendent.
  • Assists with development of lift drawings.
  • Builds rapport with owners, clients, engineers, and partners while ensuring contractual compliance.
  • Plans and safely executes Hazardous energy control, T&E, Working at Heights, and confined space.

We are seeking a AreaSuperintendentto support some of the most innovative, complex, and large-scale data center and mission-critical construction projects in the country. This role will be instrumental in delivering RMCI’s first-generation programs as a General Contractor within hyperscale and enterprise data center environments.The Director will drive overall program performance across safety, quality, schedule, cost, and client satisfaction while leading high-performing project and field teams in a mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities
  • Emphasizes a culture of exceptional safety and best-in-class quality to all foremen and craft, including associated trade partners.
  • Responsible for supporting and developing Foremen, including fostering a positive environment for our craft and trade partners to prosper.
  • Provides guidance and support to the Field Engineer regarding survey and layout needs, including providing a schedule as to when such work is required.
  • Assists the Project Superintendent with project schedule development and maintenance, including pull plans, look-ahead schedules, and implementation of the Last Planner System
  • Prepares work plans for critical work and facilitates detailed reviews of such plans with the Field Engineer and Foreman
  • Understands budgeted values for labor, equipment, and consumables; responsible for collaboratively planning work with the Foremen to be commercially successful.
  • Responsible for ensuring efficient crew sizing and makeup is always present and adjusting when necessary.
  • Ensures Foremen are promptly and accurately completing all necessary reports and documentation for their crews (timesheets, daily reports, safety/quality forms, employee evals etc.)
  • Leads coordination and Support for all QC processes for their specific scope or assigned project.
  • Actively participates in daily and weekly project meetings.
  • Promptly reports field issues to the Field Engineer and Project Superintendent
  • Assists this Field Engineer with the development of lift drawings.
  • Develops rapport with owners, clients, engineers, and trade partners while ensuring contractual compliance with all parties.
  • Planning and safe execution of Hazardous energy control, T&E, Working at Heights, and confined space.
Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of all aspects of construction and industry practices, processes, standards, and their impact on project activities
  • Ability to multi-task, collaborate with others, set priorities, and take initiative.
  • Demonstrated success supporting a team through complex project execution.
  • Experience leading project teams and holding them accountable to project goals.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, written, presentation skills are a must.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • STSC trained.
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software a huge plus.
  • Positive and teachable attitude.
  • Possesses excellent organizational, verbal, written and presentation skills.
