Job summary

Baker Construction in Florida is seeking an Area Superintendent to oversee profitable installation of project work, directing co-workers and interfacing with other trades. You will manage a specified area or entire small/medium project, focusing on safety, planning, cost and productivity while maintaining SQP culture and client relationships.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of related experience (or 10 years), foreman experience, and special certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university; 5 years of related experience and/or training, or 10 years related experience.
• Line & Grade experience is preferred.
• Foreman experience is required.
• May require appropriate Craft Certifications.

Summary

The Area Superintendent oversees profitable installation of project work by directing co-workers and interfacing, coordinating and directing other trades. Responsible for a specified area of a large project, or entire small or medium project. Responsible for safety, planning, cost and productivity, while perpetuating an SQP culture. Responsible for client relationship.
