Job summary

H&M is seeking an Area Manager to lead and develop a group of stores, aligned with regional goals and global standards. You will drive sales, coach store teams, and ensure compliance with operational procedures across locations.

This on-site role reports to the Sales Region Manager and focuses on delivering strong business results, exceptional store experiences, and sustainable practices while fostering an inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail, or similar (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years in multi-store retail management.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in coaching and developing teams.
• Commercial mindset with ability to analyze and act on KPIs.
• Experience ensuring compliance and operational standards.
• Ability to lead change, e.g., new store openings or rollouts.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable with retail systems and digital tools.

• Oversee rollouts of new store concepts, campaigns, and initiatives.

• Support sustainability actions in line with H&M goals.

Job Description

As an Area Manager, your main focus will be to lead and develop a group of stores in close alignment with store managers to deliver strong business results, ensure best-in-class store experience, practice strong leadership and ensure operational excellence in alignment with global values and long-term ambition.

This on-site role reports into our Sales Region Manager, and is a field-based position aligned with your geographic Area responsibility.

A Day in the Life

Compensation: expected base salary range is $123,000- $141,480
