Job summary

Performance Foodservice in the United States is seeking a Sales professional responsible for developing independent account business with emphasis on profitability through new sales and account penetration.

The role includes promoting branded products, supporting customer service activities for regional and national chain customers, and collaborating with the team to maximize market share and visibility in the marketplace.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–12 months in sales/marketing and/or restaurant environment.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.

Responsibilities

• Generate additional business by analyzing sales territory and customers; present products to customers.
• Grow sales and profit margins to meet goals.
• Set up new accounts by determining pricing and coordinating with Credit and delivery teams.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating with center personnel and resolving issues.
• Build additional business with current customers through product penetration.
• Monitor accounts for credit terms and follow up on issues.
• Stay aware of pricing trends to maintain competitive pricing.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
