Achieve Life Sciences, Inc. is seeking an Executive Director, Area Sales to lead a multi-state geography through a team of Regional Sales Directors, driving national strategy and local execution for our cytisinicline launch.

You will build and develop high-performing sales leadership, translate clinical and market insights into territory plans, and partner with Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Enablement to ensure readiness and compliant, performance-driven field execution across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology sales and sales leadership experience.
• 5+ years of experience directly leading sales managers.
• Proven success developing and executing Area or multi-region business plans.
• Experience engaging organized customers (health systems, IDNs, large practices).
• Strong regulatory and promotional compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead Area strategy and business performance across multi-state regions.
• Drive launch readiness and executable field activities for the national strategy.
• Build and develop high-performing Regional Sales Directors and teams.
• Manage budgets, incentives, and performance with data-driven insights.
