Job summary

Stonebridge Companies at Residence Inn - Rehoboth Beach is seeking an Area Sales Coordinator to provide essential administrative support to the Sales Department, manage room block inventories, and qualify sales inquiries to help maximize client satisfaction.

In this full-time, on-site role you will audit the sales system, organize documents, attend meetings, and assist with special projects while maintaining professional client and team communication.

Qualifications

  • Previous administrative or sales support experience is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in records.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time independently.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and ability to assist with reports.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support including typing, phones, and correspondence.
  • Audit the sales system for accuracy and space conflicts.
  • Manage the flow of paperwork in and out of the sales management office.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for reports and records.
  • Respond to client requests, complaints, and questions promptly.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail for the sales department.
  • Handle faxing, photocopying, and other clerical tasks.
  • Monitor and manage office supply inventory.
  • Attend and take minutes during sales meetings.
  • Assist other administrative staff during absences.
  • Collect dates, statistics, and reports and follow up on assignments.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned by the department head.
